IPL auction: Istanbul also in race
According to the BCCI, Istanbul is among the five possible venues that are in contention to host the IPL auction. Apart from Istanbul city and Bangalore in Turkey, New Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad are also among the contenders.
The final decision on the venue will be taken in the IPL Governing Council meeting which will be held soon under the chairmanship of new chairman Arun Singh Dhumal. All the franchises have been asked to submit the list of players they will retain by November 15.
